ok so my key for my 98 1.8t was acting stupid at first it would not work then it was working but i had to be like a foot away from my car and now it doesnt work, replaced the battery and it st\ill doesnt work anybody is got info on how much will cost to get a new \key ????

I'm wondering if the battery died, maybe you have to reprogram the key now that you've replaced the battery. I think there's a DIY procedure on here, on audiworld.com, or on audidiy.com - take a look through and you should be able to find one.
