hey i was just wondering what rpms you guys launch your a4 and where you shift cause i have the giac chip and it has a 7100 rpm rev limiter but the boost seems todies way off by then but just wondering?

no man i dont ever drop it, but if anything i just get the rpms up to about 2500 or3000 and kind of ease on the cluch, and yeah i know its bad for the cluch but i only have about 1000 miles on my cluch

I usually launch at 6500 in second and I ride the clutch till I hit about 60. When I hit the rev limiter, I downshift to first to let my BOV take up the slack in my tranny, and then the VTEC kicks in and I'm gone!

Haha, you douche ^

I usually quickly ease off it at 3k if I wanna be mean to it, then slam the pedal down, shift from 1st to 2nd at 7k, and then shift at 6.5-7 from then on till its over

thats kind of weird cause if i were to shift to3rd at 7k i would be at like 7psi then cause the ko3 just doesnt breeth good enough by the time i get that high in the rpms. i like to shift it like 5900 or 6000 rpms.
