my lights in my 96 a4 2.8 are bypassed and i dont no wy the guy i got it from did that he said if they arent bypassed the lights dont go on how do i fix that to be back to the way it should be anyyy ideas ????please help thanks

 

Get a new switch. They die a lot and he bypassed it so he'd still have lights.

 

that switch sucks especially if you have the 4 spoke wheel. I drove around for a week at night by holding down the high beams just so i could drive at night. talk about a PITA. just try one night holding the high beams shifting and going around corners.

is that switch the reason my cruise control doesn't work also ? i have all new fuses so there in but they blow out
