Default Looking for the DIY- Painting Rims threads

Hey guys,

This is my first post in probably almost a year now, I've been very busy. And over the last 4 months my Audi has taking back seat to my new 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R =). It's a blast, and I'll throw up some pictures later but, this weekend I plan on doing a project on the audi.

I'm looking for the DIY Threads about painting the rims with Duplicolor and such. I found Chaos' but there was another one with a Scion TC that someone did the rims on, I thought it was Therussians but I couldn't find it through his profile. If you guys have any of the good rim painting DIY's can you please post them here.

Thanks guys,
Crimmy

Just sand them down (600 grit or so), tuck 3x5 index cards, overlapping, into the bead to cover the tire, and spray 'em down. Several light coats will do it - don't go heavy with them or they'll run. Then clearcoat and reinstall after drying

Awesome job on the tC, that's what I have in mind for mine when I get the time, color and all. Probably do it over winter break when I don't have as much driving to do hehe
