Default Looking for pointers on an oil change

I've done some searching, but don't have enough time to sift through ALL of these threads.

I'm new to Audi's, not new to doing my own work. Just curious if there's any tips/pointers anyone can give me or anything to watch out for? Are the trans and oil pan bolts the same or is the trans a torx bit?

Background info:

trans drain is a special 12 point tamper proof- internet buy
need a 17mm allen for the fill on the tranny which isn't common - i searched everywhere before i ordered it off the net. As for the oil change its straight forward. wrench, oil and filter your good.

Not all trans drain plugs are the same. And there's nothing really tamper proof about triple square bolts. They're used all over and on other cars too.

Don't train your trans and overfill the crank case. Sounds dumb but plenty of people here have done it. the oil drain plug on the oil pan is very close to the front of the car. Oil pan drain plug is 14mm IIRC.
