I just picked up a 2005.5 A4 2.0T for $14.5k w/ 60k miles on it. The passenger side door wont open from the inside and the window lock doesn't seem to work for the passenger side either, so I'm guessing there's a shortage on that side? Also, I want to do a couple minor mod's and wasn't sure where to start. I was thinking a chip of some sort for extra HP (best bang for my buck) and a blow off valve to make the turbo more noticable. Any suggestions? This is my first AUDI...Thanks in advance guys.

 

Congrats on your Audi. There is a good sticky at the top of this forum with the info you're looking for about some basic mods. No BOVs on the Audi's--it's a closed turbo and you'll just make your car run like crap. You can replace the stock DV with a newer rev that is more bulletproof, though, and if you really want noise out of a nice, quiet, entry-level luxury compact, there's a DV spacer you can add. There's a lot of info on chips and it sounds like all four options are fairly good ones. I'm looking at APR (for a few reasons), but not for a while yet.
