Default MBC install question

So basically my chip is set for 12.5psi, but yet my car spikes at 14-15psi and starts bucking like crazy, it runs up to 13psi perfectly. So I want to install a mbc to control the boost so it won't go over 13psi, I have read I should run it in parallel to the n75 valve basically by just cutting the tube running from the n75 into 2 and just install the mbc there. Here's the problem, this accounts for the bottom nipple and a side nipple. My mbc (forge) has a bottom nipple and 2 side nipples, do I just plug one side nipple and just install it like I mentioned?

Have a read on this page:
BoostValve VW Audi 1.8T Over Boost Correction kit Explained
It's kinda long, if you skim you can get the jist of it.

Sounds like you're thinking that you are getting "overboost". My FrankenTurbo setup overboosts pretty badly, on the order of 25+psi (the highest my gauge will read) when the tune is set for 20-22psi. So I've got a BoostValve MBC in parallel with the N75, and set so boost hits ~21psi max and holds there.

I've read around, and for overboost or high boost spikes (like what you're describing) the Forge unit doesn't really react fast enough to be very effective.

I think one of the Forge's nipples is the bleeder port, which would connect to your intake I believe.

I have a three port forge MBC that you can have if you want it. I used it in conjunction with the "diode" mod before I got a proper tune. You're correct, the third/bottom port is the bleed, and it can either be plumbed back into the intake or just bled off to atmosphere without too much trouble. If I were you, I'd go with a BoostValve ball/spring type instead of the Forge bleeder type. Much better for this application

I already have the forge, thanks though. Ill just return it and get the boost valve, am I correct in the installation aspect? Cutting the line going from the n75 and putting the boost valve so the side nipple is towards the n75 and the bottom is away?
