Mini Fire on my Audi Today

if your turbo oil seal took a **** you would see a lot of oil in your IC and you would see a lot of oil in your turbo. i highly doubt it's the seal though. you would've notice a significant power loss.
i'd check everything in the engine compartment first and see if the car starts and keep an fire extinguisher close by

I am started taken my Car apart. I am getting the Turbo Out. I took the Front Pipe that goes from turbo, to Air Cooler to Intakeoff and I saw Black Oil. This means the Oil Seal Most likely is Gone and the Cat Fire is a very Good Posibility now.

Here are Some more pictures for you
After the Fire, I pulled out the turbo, Cat Convertor and I am debating On timning Belt.
I will be curious to hear from anyone who has done this Job.
The Hardest thing was the Removal of the Cat Convertor. I also snapped 2 Bolts from Turbo to Manifold.

The location of the Fire
So, All you who drive these used Audis, 1998 Avants mainly, go under your Car and inspect the Heat Shield around the Cat and after it. Make sure it does not Touch the Pipe in any way. The Shield is supposed to be Bolted to the Walls but they do brake loose.
I wonder if Audi Knows about this problem .
