the interior mirror has finaly takin a **** all over my climate control unit and shift **** and ate away at the plastic, so i shattered it. do they sell the interior mirrors for our cars without that auto dimming feature? all i can find are ones with that feature and i really cant afford 100+ for a mirror.

I would kind of like to see a picture of that shift ****.

You could always grab a junkyard mirror for cheap even if its from a different type of car or manufacturer. The button that glues to your mirror can be purchased and glued onto your window. Use the stalk from your old mirror to help you pry off the old button if necessary. I'm sure they make some stuff to help dissolve the glue too.

Just an idea.

They are only 90 bucks on Parts.com, while dealers ask for 130+tax

Yep, or check classifieds here on AF for someone parting out a car. My 99 does not have auto-dimming, so I can promise you they make them for the A4.
