Default Misfire! related to air pump?

My air pump is basicly shot and i am miss fireing. IDK if this could be related. I have a little bit of oil in the first cylinder and i dont know what this is from. My check engine light is on and i dont know if this could be related to the airpump or if i have a bigger problem then then the air pump.

The SAP pump won't affect engine performance in any way. Have the fault codes read.
The oil in the spark plug is due to a bad valve cover gasket.

Audi Tech, is that space below the valve cover with the cams subject to boost and vacuum? I have a CCtensioner gasket leak and just wondering if that is giving me the CEL. So if you left the oil fill cap off you would screw up the vac? (I've never done this just wondering)

If you had a large enough leak from the valve cover you could get a CEL, leaving the oil cap off will throw a CEL. A cam seal leak probably won't cause one however.
