My 97 Audi a4 will not start

Default My 97 Audi a4 will not start

So woke up this morning to start my car & it will crank but wait crank over.i here the fuel pump working.checked to see if there's spark & I believe there is no spark.i just replaced the starter so I don't know if that might have some thing to do with it.so can some one help me out please!

Did I start after the new starter was installed?

Yes but it had a little hesitation it would crack for a few seconds then it would start but today nothing?

Default I was duped

the ignition control module was acting up on my car took me a min to figure it out. might be worth a look.

Just curious! How did you tell if the ignition control module was bad by looking at it? Did you just swap a new one in?

I took my car in for service so I hope it doesn't cost to much

i had a friend help me check for spark. it was very weak. found a new ignition control module online for 40. put it on when i got it and fixed the problem.
