My Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Up Date

Default My Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Up Date

I was messing around with my car today just taking the panels off and having a look...I have had a locking issue with my car....found the problem in the trunk or boot as the others call it saw a sticker in the spare tire area with my engine code I need to know if this is a good one to have.....AEB

You have a locking issue? What do you mean. Like a central vacuum locking issue. Because if yes the pump is in the trunk. There is also a sticker in the trunk that has a bunch of three digit codes and when entered shows a bunch of info about your car. This site should work to decipher it PlanetVAG.com - VW & Audi PR Code Search As for your engine. AEB is a fine engine. Same one that me and a bunch of others have. Like all 1.8t's it has it's common issues with oil pressure and such, remember to put a bigger filter on next oil change! Tuners love the engine because it has a large intake port head and if I am not mistaken slightly larger wrist pins in the rods, which connect to your pistons. Doesn't really matter though, it functions the same as all the others. 150hp is what it makes stock. Hope that answers your questions buddy.

Yeah I found the pump just got to get the number off of it...I also took my driver door panel and saw that my locking rod from the key broke off....I do know that it is a very nice motor and just needs two CV Axles and thats it the rest is cosmetic.
