ive had a small leak in the flex pipe since i bought the car. no big deal. it wasnt too bad. well over the last couple days i noticed it getting louder and on my drive to work today, the exhaust actually started to back crack. it sounds so amazingly retarded but im actually gonna keep it like this for a couple days just because i wanna embarrass myself and since its a post cat and 02 sensor leak, it doesnt really hurt anything. i know this story is pointless but i wanted to share it. i might even post a pic tomorrow of the flex pipe just hanging there.

 

mine did that about a year ago and it was louder than crap. i couldn't even stand it to get it to muffler man so i slapped a tin can on it with the some 3" hose clamps to get me across town. good luck not going insane from the drone.

 

same happeend to me... bought a flex from ecs i think $10

 

Mine does the same thing, but its not too bad yet. I go up for inspection at the end of this month, hopefully it sneaks past the sniffers

not bad not bad. i had my entire exhaust on the 2.8 fall off from both the flex pipes. literally for a 3days i was running nothing from teh downpipe back. it was loud as hell and scared the **** out of everyone within earshot. that also since the car was runing rich iwas literally shooting out ***** of flames when engine braking.
