Fresh could just mean he put in another stock motor, doesn't have to mean he had the one that was in it rebuilt.


Anyone that pulls their motor apart to "refresh" it with new rings/bearings and plans on running a BT is going to put rods in since they can be had for under $400.

 

i dunno, to me that means he refurbed a stock engine 30k miles ago. if he had done rods, he probably would have listed it in there, as that is one more selling point.

 

I'd only worry about a modded car because I've seen so many modded cars that are hack jobs. I don't trust many people to turn wrenches on my car, and if I'm buying a car I don't trust too many people who do it themselves. That's not to say they don't know what they're doing - they may well be better than I am with cars- but I get a little queasy when I'm told "yeah I did it all myself."

 

yea i tend to agree.. car could be mint.. just not the way i would go.. but in the event that it is? its a good deal if you ask me
