Performed a boost leak test today. Was only able to find 1 small leak, cut off the Audi hose clamp and put on a new one. Still only boosting around 12 PSI so that leak didn't seem to be doing much.

Also was reading that maybe my pressure regulator could be to blame, anyone have any thoughts on that? This is the part I'm talking about http://www.europaparts.com/pressure-...34129101b.html

Haha thanks. Wish I knew why I was only at 12. Although it's not far off from what the tuner said but everyone here on the forums said I should be up around 16-18

I like the double din full look of the stereo. I still have my stock symphony Bose and want to do at least the alpine, pioneer or kenwood head unit, but suspect it'll lead to a full blown change- focals in the doors etc.
What system did you have before? Did you leave the speakers stock?

Thanks! Love the features of an aftermarket head unit. I have the same sound system as you. Right now still have the stock bose speakers. Don't really have any plans on changing them out but that could change in the future.

How does it sound? I heard there was some head units with 2 amp preouts and some that have an optional 4 amp that matches the Bose better.
My right door speaker messed up so I bought a pair- fixed the right side now my left is starting to fail so I'll put that in. My biggest Hangup is I want iPhone integration and also charge. Might be able to live w the Bose speakers for a while longer. Oh and Bluetooth hands free would help.

Sounds the same.

The head unit I have does everything you listed. Most these days do actually.

Just ordered a steering column mount for my boost gauge from ECS, think it will look much cleaner now. The DIY vent pod wasn't professional looking enough for me. Hats off to you guys who did make them look stock. I think it'd be a different story if I had more than a pair of scissors, saw, and a knife.
