Spent over and hour taking them off and cleaning all the residue off from where they were. Less than 20 minutes to put them back on.

Nothing major recently. CV joints still clicking sometimes, waiting until I go in to get my oil changed in about 1000 miles so I can hear what my mechanic has to say about them.

Fixed my boost gauge light. Lighted worked for a little but then stopped working. Finally after 2+ months I decided to fix it. Checked all the connections and they all looked good but something changed as now it lights up. Also blew the dash fuse in the process as I crossed 2 of the light wires. Just took the "navigation" fuse and put it in the spot as it was the same fuse and my car never had navigation.

Also ordered 35% tail light tints to apply. Too cold outside so I may have to wait until after winter or find someone's warmer garage.

Sounds like I may have a rear wheel bearing going. We'll see though. I had one replaced when I got the car, forget which side it was though.

Is there any easy way to check to see if the wheel bearing is going bad?

Well I'm finally going to replace my axles, and my control arms... Brought it to my mechanic today to see what he thought. He said I would be okay for a little but it's going to have to be done soon so I'm just going to get it over with.

Now I can get used oem axles both fronts for $160 from a member on another forum. Should I get those? He said they have about 130k miles on them and both boots are good.

What about control arms. I need upper and lower on both the front and one on the rear left. Should. I just let him use whatever or are them some "performance" or "better" ones people generally go with when relplacing them? Thanks guys.

Dropped the car off on Monday to get new axles, some tie rods, and some control arms. Also for an alignment after all that. Excited to see how it handles with some new suspension parts.

$72 per hour that's cheap. Almost 1/2 what it is on the left coast

He gives me a good deal. Only mechanic that I go to when I don't do it myself. Been about 4 years now.
