Default Need help and don't know where to start...

Hi fellas! I have these two codes
16989 - Internal Control Module
P0605 - 35-00 - ROM Error
00561 - Mixture Adaptation
14-00 - Adaptation Limit (Add) Exceeded
AEB engine and bought the car chipped.
im not sure if this is related to any of the 2 codes but whenever my car is on low fuel, car stalls when i hit a stop or brake whether clutch pressed or neutral. Could this be a fuel pump issue when experiencing splashing in the tank??? Also gas mileage is terrible. Should i begin with getting a new ecu first? Thank you very much in advance. Really appreciate any help.

Doesn't it completely mess up the fuel filter to run the car to super-low gas? Maybe you're just running it to normal-low, in which case I'm not sure.
In any case, googling the first code gives a lot of info about a poor ECU so you're probably on the right track there. this guy also talks about the hoses inside there so maybe its just those that's causing errors.
Either way I have no clue so I'm more or less just bumping... Good luck!

There is an intake screen on the pump, which pre-filters any debris big enough to hurt the pump, so low fuel isn't an issue for the fuel filter. However, super-low or empty running of the tank could be bad for the fuel pump, which is intended to run full of gas.

Thanks guys i appreciate it. I guess ill just replace the ecu. Hose and everything is fine around the ecu. Now for the 00561 code, i checked all vac lines and i cant find any leak. So does this mean it could be the MAF now? TIA

do you have acess to a vag-com cable to get the DTC's. The codes you've listed are generic OBDII codes. The actual Audi codes are much more explicit. The 00561 could be caused by several things. The ECU is trying to lean out or enrich the fuel mixture too much. This could be a vacuum leak, bad MAF, or O2 sensors.
