The actual pump is inside of that box. The Jettas might need modifications to fit if they would work. The diy suggests grabbing one out of a Passat module which was close in size and shape and paying a junkyard just a few bucks for it.

Ebay does have a couple of complete central locking modules for sale. You'll need to recode your remotes if you replace the whole thing.

Quick question , I just replaced my whole central locking unit, still nothing works assuming i have to recode?? i tried reprogramming the key fobs i couldnt get it to work, could be just me. Only thing i noticed after i replaced it was that i have to pull the door handles twice inorder to open the doors now? any input on this stuff?

When locked the first pull on the door handle unlocks. 2nd opens.

When you say nothing works, does your alarm work? Interior lights? These are also controlled from the CLU. Might want to have a look at the fuses then connect VAG COM to recode, pull codes & troubleshoot.
