Default Need help with valve cover gasket

I recently went on a longer trip and when I came to a stop I noticed the distinct smell of oil burning off exhaust. When I crawled under the right hand side of my car I noticed a light smoke and oil dripping down the side. I am going to go ahead and change the valve cover gaskets, but when I went onto autohausaz.com they showed two different gaskets and it says that if I have chassis code T000000-T076000 it is one part and if I have T076001+ it is another gasket. Are they talking about the end of the VIN? If so mine ends TA028064 which is close to what they are asking for but an A in it. I just dont want to have the wrong gasket when I take this apart and I want to get it done soon since I will be taking a long trip soon. Thanks

I don't know about all of that, but I'm pretty sure the www.purems.com has the best price. They have great service, too. I bought both of mine from them.

Ok I just checked them out and I am even more confused, I don't think that the chassis code is the same as the VIN but I am not sure. What exactly is the chassis code and where is it located?

Ok nevermind google led me to a VIN decoder which helped me. Chassis code is the end of the VIN so now I know what to order. Thanks

Don't bother that way if you have questions. When you call PureMS, give them your VIN number and they'll send you the right set based on the VIN.

I think that I am going to go with autohausaz because I also need an oil cooler, since I am having the hardest time finding one used. purems is almost double the price when you add in the high oil cooler price and free shipping that autohausaz offers. Has anyone had a bad experience with them? They seem pretty legit.
