Default Need Lightswitch

I went to the local Audi dealership to get the light switch that's in the column they wanted $250.00 for it? that didn't sound right to me. What should I be spending any recommend places to grab one?

Thanks!

Take a look at the DIY subforum. I have a DIY in there on disassembling and reassembling it, and it has a link inside to ways to possibly repair it.

Do your headlights not work anymore? Do your high beams work when the stalk is pulled? (I.e. flashing them.)

If so, the headlight switch contact Jeremy posted above has melted. I can send you a working contact for free, however this does not address the cause of the problem. To prevent the contact from melting again relays must be installed to pull the power away from the switch and onto a separate circuit.
