You can take my size and compare it with what you want and see the difference in size. I wouldn't get bigger tires than what I have though.
Hiwords, your tires are too tall, which is why you're so close. You should be running 225/40r18 or 245/35r18 (which is a bit too wide).

i've been running staggered for over 4 years with no issues.

as for tire size, i'd run 235/35 in rear and 225/35 in front.

not sure if you'll need spacers or not. if you do, i can't imagine you'll need anything too aggressive.

There's no issues if you don't mind the extra understeer. I guess if he's going for 19"s, it's gonna be a show car anyway.

looks good but definetly not good for the car, one of my golden rules: NEVER stagger a 4-wheel system . . . but hey, go ahead and do you .

Porsche and BMW both offer staggered wheel setups on some of their AWD systems. Granted, it's factory-tuned for it, but it can be done. If you have ESP, there is a possibility the system may prematurely freak out, especially if it sees different wheels speeds due to different rolling diameters.

With a Torsen-diff Quattro setup, the axle with the most resistance (grip) will get more torque and the only EDL is electronically activated, which will not be an issue front to back, but only side to side. With ESP, however, it does complicate the system with more electronics involved which may be negatively affected by staggered wheels or a difference in rolling diameter.

Either way, a staggered setup on a B5 will cause unwanted understeer. If this is a show car, you'll get used to it on the street or might not even feel the difference unless you're driving at the limit.
