I am still trying to Replace my burnt Out Sound Baffle under the Car. I finally got the part from the Dealer and My fear came true and that is a Transmission removal Job.

Anyway, I have taken the Axle that goes to the Tran Off and I do have the Bently book. I have Engine Support and Trans Jack but If I could help it, I don't want to detach my Trans from the Engine.

Has anyone Dropped the Engine and Trans 4" to 5"? Just so I could get to the Sheild.


I also think I screwed up removing the Boot that holds the Drive Shaft up. Now I suppose need it Calibrate it some how when I putit back up.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't work to just drop it down a little.
