Default Need some advice on a used A4

Hello, now I know this might be in the wrong section but whatever I am looking for my first car and I am looking at the A4 it’s such a sexy car now I know about all the little things and I am not looking into upgrades just a car that runs. Now on to the goodies it’s a 2000 A4 Quattro 2.8 automatic 114,000 miles 5 grand blue with grey leather interior. I have done the Car fax and everything looks good came from Texas, maintanace has been done everything looks good. There is a hole in the passenger seat only visual bad spot but that can be worked on.

First car advice: Learn how to drive a manual transmission before buying a car! Automatic trans is possibly the weakest thing ever invented...Dont be a wuss, find a diffrent car...

However, one thing I did notice is that the coolant tank is empty or they are not using the G12 coolant like they should so I would check that out.

Yeah i know about the coolant but they did say they just got the car so i am going to be looking for my orange coolant when i get over there. I am just asking before i even make the trip out there if it was even worth the time. The good thing is the car is form texas and thats all highway miles. as far as the manual i could care less im not going to be racing and after work ill be way to tired to be shifting all over the place thanks anyway.

Coolant should be pink, not orange. It needs to be the Audi/VW G12 coolant.

i would try and find one with lower miles. the tiptronic tranny's cant take much past 120k.. its the weakest part of the a4's, so either look for a manual with 100k miles + or look for a tip with less miles on it for sure.
