So my neighbor and I did an oil change last night(he has a lift in gerage)no sludge found". The under side is great looking checked all bearings no play found. Looked for leaks in all the plumbing none found. Exhaust one more year and it will be needing some work. What so you people think about under coating your AUDI?.

undercoating isn't necessary. Audi is good at some things, bad at others, but the one thing they are great about is making a car that resists corrosion.

Hello everyone here is an update on my A4. Wednesday driveing down the interstate doing 70mph my engine light came on. There was no change in the engine performance, smooth as it can be. Went to the dealer today plug in there VAG-COM and found catalytic converter emission failed. They suggest MR Gasket CATCLEAN. I picked up a bottle today through it in and will up date you on the results. Still have to do the control arms been to buissy to so. Does anyone have a remedy for the transmission cooler lines not the soft side the metal one's. Mine are pretty rusty to tonight wire brushed them and slapped some paint on. Everything else is working great still love driving this car.

Ok don't waist your money on that MR Gasket CATCLEAN. My light came back on today while on the interstate. Next I am going to try removing the O2 censor and placing a spacer. I ordered my control arms should be here today.

I purchased a VAG-COM yup a very inexpensive one, but it does the job. I also found on the web a table of all the code. I put these on a XL sheet will print them out next week. Just changed the rear upper driver side controll arm in one hour no more front end nocking. So all in all still love the car.
