hey guys name is jordan i got a 00 a4 1.8tq 5 speed midnight blue owned it for about 8 months bought it from a dealer that screwed me sold it as is and timing belt snapped less then a 1000 miles later its been sitting for a while but i just recently started coming up with extra cash and something to do so i deceided to do a mild build on my audi i love the car and it has alot of potential and ive seen alot of grewat advice on all of the different audi forums im excited to dive into my first euro cant be to bad considering im converting from rotarys.

Why did you decide to buy one? For the AWD, and because i've read they have a lot of potential.. i ended up getting a fwd instead but i still love it@!

1. Love it. It's super fast and totally fun to drive. I have definitely spent a lot on repairs, but the thought of getting rid of this car makes me sad. So I continue to fix it.
2. It's a 2002 A4 but I've only owned it about nine months.
3. It was a gift, and a great one at that. After not having owned a car in 15 years, it's an awesome thing.

I got a 1999 a4 5sp. With 129867 miles.and I love this car.handles great. Great gas milage. My other car is a chevy 2500 hd with diesel . Just not as good milage.love the body style.

 

hey just bought a reddish orange b5 avant 1.8 se and I love it. its my first british spec car. ive owned it for about three weeks no complaints. I decided to buy it to be different. everyone here has either a civic, subaru imprezza, skyline, or PRELUDE!!!

now to business, I want to get a little more power from my motor with out the use of forced induction. where should I start? and what do I call this motor?

 

Just bought a 2005.5 Audi A4 and am new to the game and have a lot of questions that i wish i could start a thread on but can't for some reason at this time. can any one help me with that??
my questions are do they really only get 14 mpg in the city
and my next question can some can tell me if i'm missing something, my car seems to automatically lock. Last week i went to the gas station left the car running like i always did before, was gone for no more then 2 minutes and the car had locked the doors with it running. I also left my keys on the seat when i go into work like i always did before and came back out after my 12.5 shift and the doors where locked??? What is going on??

3. I bought it because I wanted awd and something that still looked good but was also "affordable" (affordable to buy, not maintain it seems like)
