New A4 owners check in

Do you like your new audi?
Yes. Yes I do
How long have you owned it?
Almost a year.
Why did you decide to buy one?
Because some bitch rear ended my 2002 BMW 330Xi, and there was no hopes of getting another one that I could afford. I like the Audi better though.
Was there another vehicle you were thinking about before you bought the audi?
The same BMW that the meth-head bitch rear ended.

I love my Audi A4, although it is not new. It's a 1997 Quattro 2.8 sedan. I've owned it for 17 years. I've been a VW owner, since I was 19 or 20 years old. I was about to buy another new Golf when I saw and drove this A4 at the Audi dealer. Fell in love with it instantly.

1. Yes I love my Audi.
2. Well i have owend it for about 6 months but it’s been parked for 4-5months due to piston rings going out. So I’m still deciding what j want to do the motor is shot the guy I bought it from said he just did a fresh oil change wich he did he showed me the receipt but he also failed to tell me there was a bottle of sea foam in the oil. So about 1,500 miles later I have a yard ornament and don’t know what to do.
3. I just wanted a different car I was tired of my s14 “yes I wish i would have kept s14 and had both”

1. I love my A4!
2/3. Ive owned it for about 2-2.1/2 years now, and it was my brothers before me. He gave it to me as a wedding gift and its been sitting now for a year and a half due to the clutch being blown and the slave cylinder. Just bad timing I guess. I had a kid and now I’m able to start rebuilding it now that he is older. Excited to get back out on the road!!

hello,
i love my A4
ive owned it for a few months
i was looking for a rally type of car and the Quattro awd system is one of my favorites(even if there are some problems with it)
i was looking at a first gen focus just for the body and planned on swapping the engine because of the natural aspiration not bringing in enough power and didn't want to have to spend a bunch of money on a camshaft and such.

I'm not sure if I like it or not.
Bought it from some one that had not had it inspected or tagged in 4 years.
I am still trying to get it to pass inspection (small evap leak) when the ignition housing guts broke.
If I can get it to stop acting up, I think I would like it. It feels solid and well built.
I was eyeing a Mercedes that needed some attention.

1. So far, so good
2. Had it for a couple of weeks
3. Bought it from a friend (original owner!) who made me an offer I couldn't refuse - have all records back to the original window sticker. Was looking for a daily-driver alternative to my Dodge Durango to increase the fun in my commute and decrease my gas usage. Was considering almost anything "interesting" (which to me usually means vintage quirky hatchback thingy), but my friend was looking to sell and the deal was right so I took it. It's my third Audi (previously owned an '85 4kq and an '02 S6 Avant) so I know what to expect as these things age. Have also owned a bunch of VWs and BMWs (and have an E24 project taking up my only garage space)...
