yeah.... now it makes sense....the piston faces the turbo! so the air coming from the turbo pushes the piston against the spring...( damn loading a cape size ship and unloading it is way more simple! we say the same thing all over again and again! hahaha)

thanks a lot guys! Tomorrow I will check it out!

Looks like it. That's not your car is it? That doesn't look like a Forge 007...

well that's my stock one.... I put it back.... turn the 007 back.... switch it with the splitter one

(I wanna say that I am happy that I can hear my stock one do the blow off )

thats exactly how I put my 007 and there was no sound from it at all. I am not going to hide back that I still dont get it how it works if you put it backwards... so the piston faces the airbox....

The DV is actually operated by boost and vacuum, not just the spring. While under boost, pressure from the manifold holds the valve shut. When you let off the gas and the manifold sees vacuum, it sucks the valve open and lets excess boost pressure back into the intake. If you were to cut apart the stock DV, you'll not even find a spring in it. It's a rubber diaphragm. In rebuildable piston-style aftermarket DV's, the spring and piston replace the rubber diaphragm because they're more durable.

oh god...now I get it...clearly.... yeah thanks a lot for that .... you put up pressure...the small hose put pressure down so the turbo doesnt lose pressure.... when you let your foot of your gas..the small hose sucks the piston....the air gets in the DV...and heads towards the airbox. Got it thanks a lot Drifter I will get back in 2 days to update how the splitter works.

Some people do this mod to delete bad or misbehaving n249 valves, others delete it just to simplify the vacuum system. Mine works just fine, so I'll leave it there until it doesn't. The way to tell if you have this would be to look at your intake manifold. The n249 is underneath the runner to cyl. #3 and will have a vac line running from the IM to the n249, then from the n249 to the DV
