I've learned to never buy a modified car unless you know for a fact the last owner knew what he was doing. Even simple mods are a red flag because that means the owner was more likely to try and fix something, and generally they don't do a good job.

 

kbb says that if its in good condition its worth a little over $4300. I would never pay that for that many miles, but still. I would find something else. Unless the maintenance was done and you can talk him down a little more cause of the unknown modifying factor..
