new project-I will FOREVER be a 12v 2.8
^^haha i wish it was. unfortunately I see this taking me like 2 years.
made a small bit of progress tonight. We removed a few more components off of the engine and got it ready to haul off to the machine shop in the next week or so.
Here is a picture of the car sitting in the garage...the way it'll sit for a few years lol

here is a picture of the oil pan off and a view of the crankshaft

here is a picture of the bottom side of the head. This will all be cleaned up before it is put back on the motor. i may even have some machinework done to the head such as porting, etc. for better airflow which equals more power

and a few of the inside of a vr6. the motor is pretty easy to spin, which means that the seals on the pistons are not all that great. Apparently the motor had a bit of blow-by before it was torn apart, so the piston rings are obviously shot...but this wont matter as it's being completely rebuilt

and a close up picture of one of the pistons...hmm...a bit of carbon build up it looks like :P

That's all for tonight. I will be updating this build step by step as I go along...Ya'll may get tired of updates, but i'd like to document as much as I can so that others can hopefully utilitize this if they are looking to do a similar build.

exterior and interior will stay the same, no reason to change them, at least not in the plans now. I like the way it all looks currently and everything is in pristine condition. Im finally getting it all where i want. I will get the roll bar re-powdercoated, though.
I have to replace suspension as my current struts are shot. I may add a few other suspension items.

me and a buddy built a vr6T its insane... only about 450hp but it was so much fun doing everything... we used c2 as well, and increased displacement to 2.9L turbonetics turbo was used in the build. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. ive spent hundreds of hours doing the stuff you will be doing for the next hundreds of hours ha
Had some goodies show up today! ARP hardware will be on its way in the next week or so.
