Default Newbi Vag-Com question

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and I had a question hoping someone can answer for me. I just purchased this from ebay

USB Cable KKL 409.1 VW/AUDI OBD2 OBD OBDII VAG COM 409

and I'm hoping it will work with my 99 Audi A4 1.8T quattro A/T. I got it for the low low price of 1 cent so hopefully I didn't blow my whole paycheck on a useless cable.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

It will probably work. Are they including the software? How much is shipping and handling?

Don't use the CD. Go to: http://www.ross-tech.com/ and find and download the free software. It'll allow you to read codes and clear them. The CD probably has gigabytes on gigabytes of horse **** and an uncloseable loop of the two girls one cup video. O and a virus.
