There are four possibilities:

1. There is an open/short circuit in the fuel pump circuit
2. The fuel pump is no longer functioning correctly
3. The fuel pick up in the tank, filter or other system component is creating a restriction
4. The vehicle is out of fuel

Another poster also mentioned the ABS circuit, which shuts off the fuel supply if there is a fault.

 

it was an intermittent fuel pump
replaced it and runs 110% better

Glad you got it sorted. I thought you replaced the pump to begin with?
