Default Removing fuel injector rail

Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of replacing my valve cover gaskets and cam chain tensioner seals, and things are going pretty well.

The problem I'm running into is that the fuel injector hoses on the passenger side are right in the way of getting access to the cam chain tensioner seals, as shown in the pic below.

Can I safely remove the fuel injector rail and thereby move these hoses out of the way to get access to those seals? Is there a certain procedure I must use, or can I just unbolt the two bolts that hold the rail in place?

I'm leery of just removing them and seeing what happens, as that could be a recipe for disaster without knowing the possible consequences.

As always, many thanks for your sage advice!

Thanks lm!

I could have found that via google, but I appreciate it just the same. I was actually looking for assurance that this is no big deal, and that DIY gives me that assurance.

I figured since I haven't removed my own fuel rail, I'd be better off leaving that determination up to you.
