no power for heater + fog lights!!!!

well this is what happened i tried to change my radio which failed miserably. after 3 days the power to the heater failed. there was no power to turn the heat on or the fog lights!!! i hope its something very simple!! does anyone know if thats a fuse or something else??? thanks in advance

I checked fuses 3, 5, 25, & 36...
The fuse that keeps blowing on mine is #5 (
I replaced it and it immediately blows back out within 2 seconds of starting the car.
This really sucked because I was driving home to Pittsburgh yesterday evening and this morning from Louisiana. I was in a downpour for 6 hours straight but about midway the climate control, radio, & fog lights stopped working. Kinda hard to drive without defrosters when you already can't see the car in front of you with your wipers on full blast.
Any suggestions as to why it keeps blowing? I replaced my factory radio for an aftermarket head unit, sub woofer, & hard wired GPS into the radio wiring harness...but that has been working fine since November. Maybe I ran the radio & climate control for too many hours nonstop? idk

I had a guy take a look at the wiring....a really good experienced ASE Master Tech... couldn't find anything but thinks he got close and by moving around some wires, caused the short to go away! He never actually was able to locate it and since the car won't act up anymore, won't be able to find where it was unless it shorts again. Silly gremlins
First of all, thanks for this post. I had already checked fuses 25 & 26 with nothing abnormal but after reading this I looked at fuse #5 and it was blown. I replaced it with another 10 amp and like above, it blew within 2 seconds, so I went ahead and tried a 15 amp fuse (which I realize most people wouldn't recoment or try) but believe it or not the radio turned on and so did the climate control/ac fan. Heres the weird part, as this was happening I could smell electrical smoke and saw it coming from the hood near the drivers headlight. I turned off the key right away opened the hood and it looks like the smoke was coming from the wiring I soldered into place when my oil temperature sensor ripped out. I removed the wire from its clip on the water pump and pulled it back then started the car and the climate control, fan, and radio all work great and no smoke.. I'm going to pull my car into the garage now and re-insulate my oil temp wiring and hopefully thats the end of it. My symptoms of the origional problem were no heat or a/c, no climate control system power, no radio initially but soon noticed that it still worked but wouldn't turn off when I removed the key. Expanding upon my previous post, I just got done removing the connection for my oil temperature sensor on the bottom of the oil pan. It was the cause of my radio/climate control problem and was melted internally. It looks like the #5 fuse, climate control, blower fan, and radio are all related. Apparently the sensor itself shorted out and was the cause of my smoke and blown fuses. Good luck and hope this helps someone out..

Wow...even though my problem hasn't recurred since my last post, my oil sensor and wiring was all corroded and not functioning. Just had it replaced. Was it all related? We can only speculate..I hate intermittent problems because there is no absolute certainty that the oil sensor was the root of the problem.
