Default Noisy Dash

So now that its getting cold my dash makes this annoying squeek. Im not sure if its the defrost vent or the dash itself. If i put the lightest pressure on the dash it will stop. Any ideas other than jamming something around the edges.

its just your car expanding to compensate for the cold. Thats what happens think of it like water, when you freeze it it expands. You could put something around the edges if its that annoying but make sure to take it out before the first warm day it it will be stuck in there till its cold again

Water may expand when it freezes but most materials (metal and plastics) will contract due to the decrease in internal energy.

My car as annoying little squeeks from time to time but I try to ignore them. I would buy a new exhaust or turn up your music.

Sounds like a good excuse to get a new exhaust
