Default noob

Hi all. I'm a proud new owner of a 1999 a4 1.8t. I just picked it up tonight and for what i paid i love this car. Can someone point me in the right direction for the first thing to swap out to give it a little more?

the stickies at the top of the forum. you know- the ones you are supposed to read before posting because they answer hundreds of noob questions that get asked every day.

Welcome to the forums, yes I agree with ghost on this one. On my very first day, those stickies answered all my questions and pointed me in the right direction. If you can't find something, use the search function, that helped out with my airbag light that all of us seem to experience at one time or another. The search function also helped me out with my power door lock switch that I just fixed yesterday (actually it was the central lock pump)!
