not sure where to start

Default not sure where to start

the passenger heated seat **** is pushed in on the dash and i want to fix it, but im not sure how to access the **** since its about 2 inches pushed in
any suggestions on how to fix it?

It's not hard to pull that face trim off on my 99.5. Search around it's not bad

ok, ive been trying to search around but wasnt sure what to look for. when i get to the ****, how do i get it to stay back in place?

That I couldn't tell you I've seen them pushed in so hard they break the plastic that holds them in place. I would dig in and post a pic when you get there.

Yeah it sounds like you're going to need to replace the whole **** assembly. You might try shokan.com, they'll ship just about anyplace. Not sure if they part out stuff that small though?

the first one is the drivers **** which if fine, then you can see the second one is pushed back. I tried to find the trim removal but couldn't find much. Also the vent buttons are sticking in when its already hard to push them in... its just really frustrating. any ideas.

The face trim pops off and then you can get to what you need. Years ago I pulled the whole center apart trying to get to the hazard, only to find out it just pulls out nice and easy.....
