Default o2 sensor

was wondering if the o2 sensor reading 0% while accelerating means this is a bad o2 sensor?

With vag com? What block are you reading? It should constantly fluctuate between -10% and 10%. A steady 0% would suggest that you are looking in the wrong place. If you had a dead 02 sensor you'd have a fault for that.

yes on vag com, when idle it moves back and forth through positive and negative, but when I hit the gas it goes to 0%

I wouldn't worry about it if you don't have a related fault code. Although they do get lazy and if you have anywhere near 100k on the stock sensor then I'd go ahead and replace it no matter what.
