odd Rpm problem
ok so this is very odd, the rpm bar when it gets past about 3k rpm's will jump a few hundred rpms then come back down and continue doing this, its like its "fluttering" now it cant be a shifting issue because im staying at a constant speed and the higher i get the rpm's the more it flutters, also...
on a side note ive noticed the car gets a loud "hum" at higher speeds, new tires, it isnt bumpy so shouldnt need balanced..exhaust issue???

The hum, if it's getting louder as speed increases, could well be a wheel bearing problem - these cars are known for it. See if you get more or less noise when cornering at speed. If the noise gets louder, for example, when you turn right, and gets quieter when going left, then it's likely a left-side bearing going south (turning right loads the left side of the car's suspension, and makes more noise - going left unloads it and lessens the stress on the bearing).
As for the revs, I agree - that is weird. Wish I knew what to tell you on that one, unless you're getting some random clutch slippage that doesn't manifest at the torque levels produced at lower RPM.
