hey all,
couple of weeks ago i bought my A4 2.8QM from one of the other members of this forum, and since driving it i have found that oil leaks from around the oil fill cap, any one else have this problem, or does anyone know a good way to fix this?

 

Is it actually a leak or just spilled oil collected under the engine cover? Clean it up and check it after a few drives.

 

im getting the engine steam cleaned today, so hopefully after a couple of days i can say for sure where its leaking from.

yea so it ended up not leaking from the fill cap, which im happy about, i guess the guy that changed my oil was a little stupid. but i did find that oil was leaking from the low oil sensor near the oil pan, which was new but it got fixed so everything is all good.

 

Not leaking form the fill cap? So it was just spilled oil?
