Default oil leak

Looked under the car, there are 2 oil lines coming in. One is nice and dry. The other is wet with dark oil (or oil and dirt. the dipstick looks good).

It actually looks like the flange/crimp/whatever is bad.

So, there is a metal line, that goes through the flange into some type of hose.

Can the flange be recrimped? Does it require a new hose? does it require the line to be replaced? (yeah - I hate being a novice - but someday I won't be a novice anymore).

Thanks!

ps - Wish I had taken a pic while I had the car in the air. Next time!

Can't find the pic I'm looking for!! Thee are 2 oil lines, they convert to hoses and where the hose meets the oil line is where the leak is. Only one hose is leaking. (unless there is something higher that is leaking on the hose - such as the broken funnel boot for the oil dipstick.)

Its the end of the month (and Easter is coming) so it might be hard to get it on a rack for a few weeks.

Here are the two oil lines under the skid plate. Can anyone tell which one is which (the wet and dry is kind of obvious - but what they are for . . . is not at all obvious to me. Wish I had taken more pics while I had it up in the air).

thanks!

PS - I just used the 'upload' feature in the advanced options for posting to include the pic. Please let me know if there is a better way.

Thanks!
