It has been about 70 degrees outside today and I had to make alot of short trips with only like 10 minute breaks and today is the first time I saw my oil get to 220 degrees. Im just alittle worried so if you guys could let me know if thats normal, that would be great.

 

That is a little warmer than I usually run. On my car it sticks at 190.

 

perfectly normal for warm weather hard driving. it's hotter because of the shorter trips naturaly and happens to any car. I've seen mine creep up to 230-240 with 15w50 after hard driving in 80-90+ weather.

 

Mine always stays around 200-210 during normal driving but it'll get up to about 225 if i'm getting on it in some twisties or going up a hill. No big deal, it always goes back down when i ease up off the gas.
