Oil temp low?

The oil temp gauge on my dash barely gets past 150 degrees, it stays at about 160, even in hot weather where I've driven for awhile. Is this a bad thing? No alarm or signal is going off because of it, but it's definitely in the lower part of the gauge which normally is not a super good thing...but then again it's not beeping at more and vcds says I don't have any fault codes

no not normal, and kinda bad not not the death of your car. wheres your coolant temp at during this time? and how does your heat work?

Heat works decent and coolant temp is directly in the middle when completely warmed up

Is there a thermostatic switch that controls the flow of oil through the oil cooler?

And by the way I use Mobil 1 0w-40 European formula full synthetic and it's about 55 degrees when I drive

Really? I've used full synthetic since new and I just did seafoam in my crankcase and changed the oil 200 miles ago
