What is the right oil viscosity for a 2001 audi a4 2.8 quattro with a moderate outside temperature...i live in California. And the oil capacity is 6.3 quarts right?

the reason he is **** about it is because it seems like every week we get a thread about oil recommendations. i see you have only 8 posts, which labels you as a newb. therefore, you should have read all the newbie threads BEFORE you start a thread. and also, use the damn search function. that is what its there for.
