Default ok...Sticky buttons....

So seems like a common problem to have.....and I've got a few especially under the drink holder. Had this product laying around....think it'll clean things out??

Concerns using it??

I wouldnt spray that, because right behing the HVAC (which is probably where the sticky buttons are, is your air bag module, and you wouldnt want to take airbags randomly in the face. Most of not all of the buttons pop right out

I would not use that you could short things out and that's not what that stuff is used for there are write ups about this on the net i had to do this on my car and what i did was take out my hvac unit and took it apart and cleaned and dried every thing real good you just have make note of where the buttons came from. there was i think two screws on the back of the unit and then it pulled apart.

It's common for the sticky buttons there do to soda falling on them from the cup holder. Safest way to clean is to remove the HVAC and use rubbing alcohol to clean. there is a write up somewhere on how to do it

Those stuff are made with some die-electric strength, so it will not cause any short circuits. I believe they are only made to remove grease, not soda, or drink spills. You can alway just buy a new radio from ECS for $30.
