One last ?? about the VMR Test Pipe
I noticed that VMR has a test pipe with and without a heat sheild. Major difference so far is the xtra $100. Besides the visual (live in Fl where there is no state inspection), is it worth the exta $100 for it? Is heat generated from it detrimental in the long run?

its completely up to you. if you dont need it to look like a CAT then get it without the shield and save $100. the shield will help keep some heat out of the engine bay but its not going to kill anything without the shield on. there is a cherry red turbo right next to that pipe and that doesnt really matter.
