Default One last ?? about the VMR Test Pipe

I noticed that VMR has a test pipe with and without a heat sheild. Major difference so far is the xtra $100. Besides the visual (live in Fl where there is no state inspection), is it worth the exta $100 for it? Is heat generated from it detrimental in the long run?

its completely up to you. if you dont need it to look like a CAT then get it without the shield and save $100. the shield will help keep some heat out of the engine bay but its not going to kill anything without the shield on. there is a cherry red turbo right next to that pipe and that doesnt really matter.

FYI, if you are asking multiple questions about the same topic just use one thread, no need to clutter up the forums with lots of questions about the same thing in the future.
