Are our crank and cam seals the same?
PureMS lists 038103085C as a cam seal for us. ECS lists it as a crank seal. Google says ECS did list it as a cam seal, too. ECS only lists the old style spring-loaded seal as a cam seal, though. Is 038103085C both a crank seal and a cam seal for us?

They're the same, for anyone else wondering. Though it seems I'm the only one on this board that's bothered to change them, heh.
But if anyone else wants to, here's a tip. This is very important. Slide a 23-24mm socket (24mm is what you use to get the intermediate shaft pulley off) on the new seal from the front of the seal through, and then put it up against the shaft you want to put it on, and then slide the seal over. It'll make it so the center part of the ring doesn't get caught up easily and bend forward (a bad thing!)
Don't forget to do the intermediate shaft's O-ring as well if you're replacing that seal. Pull the old seal then unbolt the two bolts and pull it off (give it a WEAK tap with a hammer to the side if it won't break loose) and replace the O-ring. Put the piece back then put the new seal on.
The old seals WILL be hard and stuck in there good. Have patience! I had to pull on my old seals from half a dozen or more spots before they came out - most of the time I'd just pull pieces off.
And also very important, BUY AT LEAST 2 EXTRAS. YOU WILL MESS UP.
Hope this helps someone.
