So while the car was down waiting for the CV axle I decided to move into the 21st Century as far as audio electronics are concerned. While the Alpine unit from Japan was nice, it did not meet my future needs as far as music and entertainment was concerned. I am going to get the iPhone 5 when it launches in a few months and I wanted a head unit that could take full advantage of the phone so I purchased a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT. The unit will be able to control the iPod, Pandora and NetFlix of the iPhone and it also looked very nice in the car and has very good sound quality as well. Here are a few pics of the install with a custom wallpaper I downloaded onto the head unit.

good move all you needed was a bluetooth headunit and you would of been set iphone 5 might not be out for awhile and the said part ios5 has been pushed back for 2012 =[

 

Yeah I've been keeping tabs on all the rumors and if it gets delayed then I will just get the iPhone 4 for Verizon as that is the phone that I saw the demo for so no worries. I would prefer the iPhone 5 but I'm not gonna wait that long if it gets delayed.

 

yeah hold out iPhone 5 is gonna be sick with lte but who knows how long apple is gonna make us wait for it

 

Fred, slick install of the PRofec B. That thing always seems to fit in a nice custom location like it was meant to be there. In my300ZX it was sized perfectly to replace the factory clock. In the A4 it replaces the culminate very nicely. In the Supra, it's a perfect fit in one of the dash slots.

Off topic I know but I like the install and it is a sweet little controller. Head unit rocks too

 

Goddammit, "cupholder" not "culminate". Spellcheck on iPhone 4 has downs syndrome. No editing posts in AF Mobile = fail.

 

Overall, I'd give the whole layout an 11 on the 1-10 scale... very nice.
