Oxygen Sensor Codes

Oxygen Sensor Codes
[:@]Read codes P1113 and P0130 after CEL came on. Reset and they came back.
What is the difference in these two codes both of which reference the first O2 sensor? Why two codes? Is this beginning to look like sensor replacement time?
What is the trick to a Universal O2 replacement sensor ? Any special effort, or just cut old and reattach new like-colored wires, or is there some soldering down in the connector?

Universal Oxygen Sensor
Sort of a Bump,
but somebody tell my why I shouldn't just buy a universal 4 wire O2 Sensor (bosch or other one) and splice it in? This might save me $100. No moving parts, simple electrical device, not related to high performance and I'm stock anyway. Why the heck not? (are they all made in china now anyway on the same assembly line and then rebranded??)

RE: Universal Oxygen Sensor
Theres no reason not to use the universals, if wired right they work just the same. Many people here have used them. It's either the convenience of "plug n' play" OEMs or the savings of universals, its up to you.

RE: Universal Oxygen Sensor
I just replaced my front left sensor. I described it in this thread:
https://www.audiforums.com/m_837072/.../tm.htm#849125
I used universal. SameBosch sensor, but without a connector. I paid $80 at Blauparts.com. It comes with a special high temp, sealed splicing kit and instructions. Not sure what the wire is, but it's teflon insulated and plated and may be hard to solder reliably, ergo the splice kit. Same sensor but with theVW/Audi connector was about $170 for Bosch or other brand.
Once you cut the connector off the end of the old one, and then strip the, check out the resistance between the bare wire and the connector pin. It'd be a bi-ch if your problem was an intermittent in the connector and you spliced it on to your new sensor!
