parking light question
So e-codes will be going in this week and I will need to wire the city lights. Does anyone know if it is legal to run with out the amber light when your headlights are on in Massachusetts? You can re-use the turn signal bulb holder from the stock housing in e-codes since the one it comes with has 2 prongs, correct? Is the stock bulb number 3457? Will I get any kind of "bulb out" warning either splicing the city light into the "always on" parking light wire or just cutting that wire and running it to the city light?
I wouldn't run without amber marker lights (the corner lights). If you want to use the city lights, I'd tap into the parking light wires so that the amber markers are on when the city lights are on. Running city lights without parking lights might cause you to get a few second looks from the police and maybe a roadside chat or two. Tap into the parking lights and you'll probably be fine.
