I have some clear corner lenses on the way for my 1999 A4 with 4 piece headlights and I was wondering how I would go about removing them. Do I just remove the headlight to expose the bolts like on my Tacoma?

 

Open the hood and behind the location of the corner light, you'll see a hole in the fender. There's a little plastic latch in there that you have to snap sideways with a screwdriver to "unlock" the corner lamp. Then push down on the tab (you'll see it in there), and slide the lamp straight forward and off the car. You'd have to have the corner lamps off to remove the headlights, so save yourself the headache of trying to figure out how to get the headlights off
